Bismuth Ingot (Bi)
Used in:
1, the formation of bismuth base low melting point alloy: bismuth and lead, tin, cadmium, indium to form a series of low melting point alloy, the production of electrical insurance device, automatic device signal equipment, etc..
2. Used as a metallurgical additive: adding trace bismuth to steel can improve the processing performance of steel.
3. Used in medicine: in surgery, the convergence effect of bismuth drug is used to treat trauma and hemostasis; Bismuth-based alloys have been used instead of lead in radiation therapy to make protective plates for cancer patients.
4. Used in chemical industry: Bismuth oxide (Bi2O3) used in the manufacture of chemical trial production, bismuth salt, inorganic synthesis, glass ceramic coloring, manufacturing of high refractive index glass, nuclear engineering glass and as nuclear reactor fuel.
5.Bismuth is also widely used in semiconductor, superconductor, flame retardant, pigment, cosmetics, chemical reagents, electronic ceramics and other fields, and has a tendency to replace lead, antimony, cadmium and mercury and other toxic elements.
