Vanadium Nitrogen (VN)
Used in:
Vanadium nitride is an alloy of vanadium nitrogen. Vanadium nitrogen alloy is a new kind of alloy additive, which can be used in microalloyed steel production instead of ferrovanadium. The addition of vanadium nitride to steel can improve the strength, toughness, ductility, thermal fatigue resistance and other comprehensive mechanical properties of steel, and make steel have good weldability. At the same strength, vanadium nitride can save 30 to 40% of vanadium addition, thus reducing the cost.
